Tribulus terrestris – a plant of Zygophyllaceae, occurring on all continents (except the Americas and Antarctica), used in folk medicine of the Far East, as a strong aphrodisiac and tonic, of which active ingredient is saponin steroid (PTN), causing the release of nitric oxide corpora cavernosa of the male sex organ, and increase of the testosterone level.
