Parcel from the UK warehouse Relora® is a proprietary blend of a patented extract from Magnolia officinalis bark and patent- pending bark extract from the Amur cork tree (Phellodendron amurense). It was designed by the NPI, LLC, acquired in 2015 by InterHealth Naturaceuticals.
Three randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trials clearly show that Relora® has a positive effect on mood and helps to maintain normal body mass in people exposed to chronic stress. After a 4-week supplementation, participants of the trials had a much lower level of cortisol and also reported a reduction in tension and nervousness, better psychological well-being and higher energy levels. POMS (The Profile of Mood States) scale was used to assess well-being.
Relora® is especially recommended for people living under chronic stress and tension, but specialists suggest that it can also be used in people exposed to excessive physical exertion. It may potentially prevent overtraining.
Relora® is available as a mono-preparation and it can also be found in combination with other natural substances, for example, adaptogens. In addition, it is included in some supplements aimed at combating the condition of "adrenal insufficiency".

Doses of 500-750 mg per day were used in trials.
