Peppermint leaf (Folium menthae piperitae) is a medicinal raw material containing: essential oil of peppermint (Oleum Menthae piperitae), flavonoids (including hesperidin, luteolin), tannins, carotene, organic acids, mineral salts, vitamin C (over a total of 30 compounds organic). This is the oldest medicinal plant in Poland, as well as seasoning for food kitchen. Soothes disorders in the digestive system and digestive tract, acts cholagogue, stimulates appetite and digestion, working carminative, antispasmodic, analgesic, lowers blood pressure.
