Myristica acid (C14) - myristic acid, belongs to the saturated fatty acids found in animal and plant origin products. In its natural form it is, among others, in goat milk and cow's butter (animal origin products) as well as in coconut butter and palm oil. Until now, it was not scientifically proved whether its excess increases the level of total cholesterol, or the relation between factions of HDL and LDL.
