L-isoleucine Alpha-ketoglutarate formed by combining the two compounds into one molecule. The resulting compound enhances the properties of each component, wherein the alpha-ketoglutarate is improving the bioavailability of isoleucine (ergogenic amino acid) with AKG values, affecting the energy processes occurring within the cell (as an intermediate in the Krebs cycle). It has anti-catabolic properties and improves nitrogen balance, protecting muscle tissue from decomposition. It improves the exercise capacity (strength and endurance), delays fatigue, supports the biological recovery process of cells.
L-isoleucineAlpha-ketoglutarate, is used in the new generation of pre- and post-workout supplements, in creatine stacks and in the most advanced form of isoleucine – in BCAA supplements.
Dosage: No strict standards of daily consumption. Usually 1-2 grams before and after exercise, or during a strength workouts with other preparations BCAA.
