Parcel from the UK warehouse CVH 15™ – is a biologically active peptide obtained from whey. It shows the ability to reduce high blood pressure. It affects the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system, which is responsible for the control over blood volume in vasculature bed.
The peptide is an inhibitor of engiotensin convertase, an enzyme transforming the biologically inactive angiotensin I into the active angiotensin II. Angiotensin is responsible for vascular muscle contractions which increase blood pressure. Reduced transformation into the active form allows for safe modulation of blood pressure and keeps it on optimal level.
Inhibition of angiotensin convertase can also lower blood pressure by reducing the breakdown of bradykinin which is catalysed by this enzyme. Bradykinin is a factor which widens the vessels and reduces blood pressure.
